About Kids Path 2 Engineering

A warm, modern STEM academy for young thinkers and builders.

We give children aged 8โ€“14 an early head start in technology, engineering, creativity and problem-solving โ€” with care, safety and fun in every lesson.

Mohamed Souabi โ€” from curious child to technical teacher.

Portrait of Mohamed Souabi, founder and instructor at Kids Path 2 Engineering

As a child, I would often take apart moving toys before the end of the day โ€” not to destroy them, but to discover the gears and little motors and understand how everything worked together as one functioning whole. Does this sound like your child? Then you may have a future engineer at home โ€” curiosity that deserves the right guidance.

My technical career began in 1986 at Philips, in the Company Mechanization department, where I completed every technical course Philips offered โ€” from analog and digital electronics to microprocessor technology.

In 1993 I was appointed as a teacher at a technical school in Roermond. Since then I have been teaching for over thirty years within technical education.

With Kids Path 2 Engineering, I bring that experience together: I want children not only to learn how to build, but above all how to research, design, test and improve independently.

Our mission

Children learn to understand, build and create technology.

Children today grow up in a world full of technology. We want to teach them not just to use it, but also to understand how it works โ€” so they can build their own ideas with confidence.

Kids Path 2 Engineering was founded on the belief that technical knowledge can be warm, hands-on and accessible. In small groups, children discover that making mistakes is part of learning, that curiosity is powerful, and that every prototype is a step forward.

What children develop here

Four building blocks of every lesson.

โœฆ

Safe to try

Children get room to calmly discover, test and try again.

โ—‰

Maker confidence

They notice: I can come up with something, build it and explain it clearly.

โŒ

Thinking together

Asking questions, listening and finding solutions naturally become part of building.

โ—†

Proud makers

Every working light, circuit or prototype makes progress visible.

Learning by building

From trying to understanding.

Our lessons follow the same natural engineering cycle as on the homepage: children discover, build, test and improve โ€” without pressure, but with clear guidance.

01

Experiment

Children explore materials, circuits and ideas with their hands.

02

Test

They see right away what works, what could be different and why.

03

Improve

Mistakes are discussed calmly and turned into better solutions.

04

Collaborate

Children learn to listen, explain and help each other grow.

Trust for parents

Professionally organized, warm in guidance.

Parents can expect their child to be seen. That's why we combine clear structure with personal attention and a safe learning environment.

โ—ˆ

Small groups

More attention, calm and room to ask questions.

โ™ก

Personal guidance

Children are helped at their own pace.

โš™

Hands-on learning

Every lesson is about building, trying and experiencing.

โœ“

Safe learning environment

Clear agreements, suitable materials and calm explanations.

โŒ

Modern STEM equipment

Arduino, sensors, robotics and projects that resonate with children.

In the classroom

Real lesson moments, real growth.

During the lessons, children see how their ideas change step by step into working projects. They build, test, improve and discover that technology is something they can understand and make themselves.

With calm guidance and real materials, every project grows along with the child: from a first question to a proud result.
